Bitcoin investors will have to wait another year or so to see their investment opportunities boosted with ETFs, which could help propel the price higher.
A pair of new ETFs have been announced by ETFs Canada and the U.K. on Wednesday.
The Canadian ETF is called the Canadian Equity ETF, which will allow users to invest in a number of securities including stocks, commodities, bonds and ETFs.
The U.S. ETF is the American Equity ETF.
Both ETFs are being developed by New York-based ETF provider iShares.
The ETFs launch comes as Bitcoin prices continue to soar, with the cryptocurrency rising above $1,200 for the first time ever on Monday, just as the European Central Bank unveiled its decision to raise interest rates from 0.25 percent to 0.5 percent.
